Modular Courses – We have purpose-built facilities for teaching small groups of dentists (i.e. less than ten).  Every year both Steve Jones and Rob Oretti present Basic Restorative Implantology modules. These courses take place over three days, one day each month. They are verified for CPD.

Out teaching is very interactive and presented in a combination of didactic seminars, usually with Powerpoint presentations, clinical demonstrations & practical hands-on sessions. During clinical demonstrations we use ceiling mounted cameras to send the clinical video feed images to a large plasma screen in the seminar area.  There is also an audio link for Q & A during clinical work.

Online learning will be a large part of education in all fields in the future.  Steve Jones has written the ‘Fixed Prosthetics’ course for the ADI online learning programme, called ARK.

The acronym stands for ‘Application…Reflection….Knowledge.’

This course could be useful if you are entering the field of Implantology from general practice.
