Steve Jones and Rob Oretti have placed nearly 2000 implants between them since 1993. They are both mentors for the Association of Dental Implantology UK and members of the European Association of Osseointegration. They have run courses in implantology and related fields for many years. This degree of experience is without parallel in the Thames Valley and is one of the main reasons for the extraordinary growth of Pentangle Dental Transformations since 2006.
The other main reason is the high level of focus within the practice. Referring dentists appreciate that the practice was designed for surgical and reconstructive dentistry, and this is what is carried out, day after day. The in-house CT scanner allows us to operate with more accuracy, usually less-invasively than previously.
We wish to work with as many dentists and patients as possible. To this end we work with four major well-established dental implant companies - Nobel Biocare (Replace & Branemark systems), Straumann, Astra Tech and 3i Biomet.
These companies all place a premium on research, development and excellent product support. They are all multi-national and offer support for patients on their travels worldwide.
We offer the following services:
- Full new patient assessments and report, including second opinions when requested
- Surgical implant placements, including intra-oral bone and soft tissue grafting. We offer treatment under intravenous sedation for the longer cases and use medical anaesthetists
- Prosthetic reconstructions from a highly aesthetic single tooth to full arch reconstructions. We work with Precision Dental Studio and John Davies Dental Laboratory both widely acknowledged as two of the best dental laboratories in the UK.
- Servicing and repair of implant treatments carried out elsewhere. If we cannot help with a particular implant system because we do not have the tooling we undertake to do our very best to find a practitioner who can help the patient
- Dental hygiene services in respect of periodontal health around implants and remaining natural teeth. Anita Harris is very experienced in the management of patients with implants. She has lectured for the ADI and Straumann on the long term maintenance requirements for dental implants in practice
