Because we work with referring dentists it is not appropriate for us to do ‘quick look’ reduced fee consultations – our referring dentists rightly expect a definitive report, and we believe that this is also the best form of documentation for the patient to receive.

Therefore we adopt a one off consultation fee of £150 – including all necessary intra-oral radiographs.  This includes a full Report, including treatment options, treatment proposals, our warranties and accurate fee indications.  As their dentist you will also receive a more technical covering letter, briefly summarising the findings and treatment proposals, and clarifying your part in the treatment. This allows you and patient to discuss the treatment proposals, both with full knowledge of the consultation outcome.

Of course further investigations are often necessary, typically through the mounting of Study Casts and/or a CT scan, or a Periodontal or Endodontic consultation with other Specialists. These will necessarily incur further fees, but there will be no further fees for the Treatment Planning process itself.

Endodontic consultation fees with Paul Cruci are treated differently because usually they involve consideration of only one tooth and often this can be evaluated if the referring practitioner has already supplied a hard copy or digital radiograph.  Therefore the consultation is more in the nature of a discussion with the patient regarding the tooth’s importance to them and of course the prognosis of the treatment. Therefore these consultations will be charged at £95.  If it is possible to start treatment at this first visit then the consultation fee will be waived and incorporated in the overall treatment fee. Typically root canal fees will be £500 to £600 for anterior teeth and £700 to £800 for posterior teeth.  Complex root canal re-treatments will take additional visits and will be quoted accordingly.
