What about the radiation?
There is always concern regarding the radiation doses received for medical procedures. Our scanner is a Cone Beam CT Scanner that produces far less radiation than hospital machines.
We are constantly working with the manufacturer (www.imagingsciences.com) our hospital scanning sites to ensure that the protocols they use, ie. the set-up of the scanner, are designed to keep radiation to a minimum.
